Track Team Drops Pair
The Wawasee track team took a pair of losses in NLC competition at Northridge. Wawasee fell to Ridge 103.5-28.5 and Goshen 110-22.
“We had many personal bests tonight,” said Wawasee coach Scott Lancaster. “We were very happy with the number of athletes who stepped up and competed against some pretty tough competition. Both Northridge and Goshen are very deep, our boys never backed down and just did their best to improve.”
Cole VanLue was the lone Warrior to earn a first place finish as he won the 100 dash with an 11.69.
Wawasee (0-7, 0-6) will compete at the John Reed Relays at East Noble on Saturday.
