Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
11:30 a.m. Monday, April 18, E. Pierceton Road, east of CR 250E, Warsaw. Driver: Rachel D. Neuendorf, 20, CR 275E, Warsaw. Neuendorf became distracted by a spider in the car and crossed the center line, proceeding off the roadway into a fence. Damage up to $2,500.
8:02 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, E. CR 400S, east of Packerton Road, Pierceton. Driver: Kalista R. Dobbins, 17, Auditorium Boulevard, Winona Lake. Dobbins was traveling east on CR 400S, turning right onto Packerton Road when her vehicle slid through the intersection, crossing the center line and colliding with a stop sign. The vehicle then proceeded off the roadway. Damage up to $1,000.
11:38 a.m. Thursday, April 21, at the corner of W. CR 1350N and N. CR 500W, Milford. Drivers: Kay D. Schoeff, 69, EMS B36B1 Lane, Warsaw. Delgadillo H. Uzias Joatham, 28, CR N. 175E, Warsaw. Schoeff was stopped on CR 500W at CR 1350N. Schoeff pulled out into the intersection, causing Joatham to swerve to avoid her. Joatham proceeded off the roadway, striking a row of bushes and a fence. Damage up to $2,500.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
7:50 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, SR 13 north of E. Pickwick Drive, Syracuse. Drivers: Amos L. Hostetler, 69, 1118 E. Monroe Street., Goshen; Amy R. Rensberger, 46, 12321 N. Camelot Trail, Milford. Hostetler’s car rear-ended Rensbergr’s. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
8:56 a.m. Friday, April 22, E. Market Street, east of S. Scott Street. Driver: Jessica Vander Molen, 32, Cherry Street, Warsaw. Molen drove into an unoccupied parked car. Damages up to $2,500.
3:31 p.m. Friday, April 22, 108 S. Lake Street. Drivers: Jade N. Betancourt, 26, E. CR 1000N, Roanoke. Driver: Teresa M. Evans, 62, Old Road 30, Warsaw. Betancourt’s vehicle backed into Evans’.
