Janice Gable
Janice Nadine Gable, 85 of Warsaw, passed away at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2016, at Halcyon Hospice House, Sandy Springs, Ga. She was born on Feb. 19, 1931 to Charles and Gladys (Frasier) Bowman in Albion.
She has lived in Warsaw since 1955. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Eugene Gable on August 1955 in Warsaw. She worked as a secretary and Treasurer for Kenneth E. Gable Builders. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Warsaw.
Janice was a loving mother and grandmother. A very giving and caring person, always concerned about others, she helped and touched many people’s lives that she came in contact with.
She is survived by her daughter, Tamara Gable-Magley of Woodstock, Ga.; a son M. Andrew (and spouse Jody) Gable of Greenwood S.C.; a sister, Barbara Grossnickle of N.C. She was blessed with five grandchildren: Aaron Magley of San Francisco; Hilary Magley of Duluth, Ga.; Benjamin Drew, Ellen Bess and Trey Michael Gable all of Greenwood S.C.; and one great granddaughter, Etta June Greenway of Greenwood, S.C.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth in October of 2009 and three sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday April 23, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana with Pastor Forrest Tabor officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to the time of the service at 1 p.m. at the Funeral Chapel, Saturday, April 23.
Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
