BOURBON — Officers conducting a home visit on Joe T. Lynn Jr., 36, 107 W. Liberty St., Bourbon, found more than just the home detainee. A methamphetamine lab was found by officers.

Also at the residence was Misty D. Orsund, 38.

Lynn was taken to the Marshall County Jail on a probation violation charge.

At 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, Ward Byers and Charles Bowen of the Marshall County Community Corrections notified Bourbon Police Department after Byers found several precursors for methamphetamine at the home. A search warrant was obtained and a meth lab was located in the residence.

The Indiana State Police Meth Lab clean up team was contacted and disabled the methamphetamine lab.

A report will be sent to the Marshall County Prosecutors office.
