Roberto Cervantes
Roberto Cervantes of Warsaw, passed away at 9 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2016, at his residence at the age of 50.
He was born on Jan. 11, 1966 in Apaseo el Alto, Guanajuato, Mexico to Ascencion and Maria Cervantes.
He was married in Nov. 1994 to Maria Ines Cervantes (maiden name: Juarez), who survives in Warsaw.
Roberto was a resident of Kosciusko County, for the past 21 years where he was self-employed in construction and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church of Warsaw.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Maria Ines Cervantes; and their children, four sons: Roberto Cervantes, Jr.; Alexi Cervantes; Allan Cervantes; Jovani Cervantes; and his daughter: Joselin Cervantes.
Also surviving is his mother Maria Cervantes (Warsaw); three sisters: Rosalba (husband Abraham) Gordillo (Warsaw); Monica (husband Armando) Sanchez (Warsaw); Maria Cervantes (Warsaw); and his brother: Ruben (wife Maritza) Cervantes (Warsaw).
He was preceded in death by his father, Ascencion Cervantes who died Jan. 22, 2010.
Visitation will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. with a Rosary service at 7 pm. all on Wednesday, April 20, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
His mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 21, and celebrated by Father Constantino Rocha.
Burial will take place in Guanajuato, Mexico.
Memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society, Great Lakes Division, Northwest Indiana Office, 130 Red Coach Drive, Mishawaka, IN 46545 and would be appreciated by the family.
