FORT WAYNE — The Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority has announced United Airlines will soon offer daily nonstop service between Fort Wayne and New York/New Jersey. Beginning Sept. 7, the airline will provide direct flights to Newark Liberty International Airport.
The airport says the new service will operate seven days per week with a morning departure from FWA at 6 a.m. The return flight from Newark Liberty will depart at 7:45 p.m.
“We are excited to welcome Newark service on United to FWA,” said FWA Executive Director of Airports Scott Hinderman. “We’re thrilled to provide our passengers with an East Coast connection that will not only give access to areas in and around New York City, but also provide connection to hundreds of destinations worldwide.”
United also has nonstop service from FWA to Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
