MILLERSBURG — Trenton Carmack, 19, New Paris, complained of pain to the chest and head following a one-vehicle accident at 4:41 a.m. today, Friday, April 15. The accident was on CR 42, east of CR 37, one mile west of Millersburg.
Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department reports Carmack was traveling eastbound on CR 42 when his vehicle went off the south side of the roadway and struck a utility pole. His vehicle, a 2002 Chevrolet SUV, sustained heavy damage in the collision. The utility pole was destroyed.
The accident is still under investigation.
Information from the sheriff’s department does not indicate if Carmack was transported to a hospital.
