Lois Ruth Poe
Lois Ruth Poe passed away at 8 a.m.Tuesday, April 12, 2016, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
Lois was born July 27, 1952 in Plymouth to Lewis and Betty (Dare) Hite.
She was a Warsaw resident and had worked for Wabash Valley for 13 years.
Lois enjoyed reading, sewing and spending time with her family.
Survivors include a daughter: Angela Barker and her companion, David Zolman, Warsaw; and her son, Frankie Poe, Warsaw. Also surviving are three sisters and brothers-in-law: Lella and David Holbrook, Warsaw; Suzanne and Larry Hyden, Mentone; and Barbara and Dick Ault of Akron; a brother and sister-in-law: Bob and Connie Hite, Akron; former husband: Frank Poe, Warsaw; one granddaughter and three grandsons: Danielle Barker, Cameron Wolf and Tommy Poe – all of Warsaw; and a great granddaughter: Alayzia Poe, at home.
Lois was preceded in death by her father: Lewis Hite (October 22, 1987); mother: Betty Hite (April 21, 2008); sister: Betty Hite (September 28, 1983); four brothers: Sam Hite (September 24, 1997), Bill Hite (July 24, 1979), David Hite (September 18, 2001) and John Hite (September 29, 1994).
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing memories from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, April 14 in Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan Street, Warsaw, IN 46580. A service to celebrate Lois’ life will take place at 1 p.m. Friday in First Freewill Baptist Church of Kosciusko County, 58 W. 700S, Claypool, IN 46510.
The family has asked that gifts in Lois’ memory be directed to First Freewill Baptist Church of Kosciusko County (Youth Ministry).
