Today Is Last Day To Register To Vote
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Voter registration ends today Monday, April 4. Kosciusko County residents may register in the County Justice Building’s clerk’s office or at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles license branch by 4:30 p.m. or online at www.indianavoters.com by 11:59 p.m. Verification of registration status can be checked on the same website.
In order to be eligible to register to vote, you must:
- Be a citizen of the United States.
- Be at least 18 years old on the day of the next general, municipal, or special election.
- Have lived in your precinct for at least 30 days before the next general, municipal, or special election (except for certain military voters).
- Not currently be imprisoned after being convicted of a crime.
“I urge all Hoosiers to exercise their right to vote,” said Secretary of State Connie Lawson. “It only takes a few minutes to register and can be done online at anytime.”
Hoosiers wishing to take part in the Nov. 8, general election must be registered by Oct. 11.
