Debra C. Sherman, 54, a resident of Wolf Lake, passed away at 2:22 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2016, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. She had been in failing health.

She was born July 23, 1961, in Columbia City a daughter of the late Jerry L. Carson and Doris A. (McClellan) Carson, who survives. She spent her formative years in Wolf Lake and graduated from Central Noble High School in 1979. She continued her education at Ravenscroft Beauty College in Fort Wayne.

Following her graduation, she lived in Churubusco later moving to Fort Wayne where she lived for 20 years. In 2013, she moved back to Wolf Lake. A licensed beautician, she worked for over 30 years in the field and was known as an expert in hair coloring. She was last employed by Summit Hair Design at Georgetown, Fort Wayne.

She is survived by her mother: Doris Carson, Wolf Lake; siblings: Jack (Jackie) Carson, Austin, Texas; Teresa (Barry) Day, Jasper; and David Carson, Albion.

There will be no services.
