Ryan J. Scott
Ryan James Scott, passed away at 9:33 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2016, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, as the result of injuries sustained in a vehicle accident March 26th. Ryan was 23.
He was born Jan. 26, 1993 in Warsaw to Matthew A. and Jennifer Beth (Eherenman) Scott. Ryan was a 2011 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and was a lifetime Warsaw resident.
Ryan worked in maintenance at Egg Innovations, Warsaw.
He enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles with his ‘brother’, Nick. He also enjoyed working on cars. Ryan had earned his First Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, collecting Superman memorabilia and watching The Fast and The Furious movie series starring Paul Walker.
Those left broken hearted over Ryan’s tragic passing are his mother: Jennifer Scott; father and step mother: Matthew and Jeanne Scott; sister: Rachel Blankenship — all of Warsaw. Also surviving are his maternal grandmother: Patti Miner and maternal grandfather: David Eherenman — both of Warsaw; paternal grandparents: Harold and Diane Scott of Etna Green; maternal great grandmother: Beth Miner, also of Etna Green; two aunts (and uncles): Devan (and Ryan) Sands and Erin (and Jason) Allison — all of Warsaw. There are five uncles (and aunts) surviving. They are: Tim (and Angie) Scott; Andy (and Lisa) Scott — all of Warsaw; Mark (and Celeste) Scott of Gainesville, Fla.; Adam (and Bridgett) Scott, Tampa Bay, Fla.; and Kapen (and Kayleigh) Eherenman, Warsaw; and many cousins.
Friends are welcome to come and share memories with each other and Ryan’s family Sunday, April 3rd from 3-7 p.m. in Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan Street, Warsaw, IN 46580. There will be a celebration of Ryan’s life at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 4. Pastor Denny Wilson of Warsaw Community Church will officiate. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery.
The family has asked that gifts given in Ryan’s memory be directed to Indiana Donor’s Network, 3760 Guion Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46222.
