Oh Deer! Oregon Police Come To Doe’s Rescue
ASHLAND, ORE. — Police officers in Oregon responded to a not-so-typical call Wednesday morning.
Police in Ashland say a deer was running through a homeowner’s backyard when she got stuck in a tree. The police department shared a photograph on social media, showing the deer, which got half her body through the space between two branches, but her hips wouldn’t fit.
Officers used a hydraulic car jack to push the branches further apart so that the deer could get free.
She made it out uninjured and took off for greener — and broader — pastures.
