Deadline Approaching; Register To Vote
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Voter registration ends Monday, April 4. Kosciusko County residents may register in the County Justice Building’s clerk’s office or at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles license branch by 4:30 p.m. or online at www.indianavoters.com by 11:59 p.m. Verification of registration status can be checked on the same website.
Early or absentee voting begins in the County Justice Building on Tuesday, April 5, and will end April 29.
Those participating in early or absentee voting, can do so from 8 a.m to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The last day to vote early will be until noon Monday, May 2. The Justice Building will also be open from 8 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m. for Saturday voting on April 23 and April 30.

In order to be eligible to register to vote, you must:
- Be a citizen of the United States.
- Be at least 18 years old on the day of the next general, municipal, or special election.
- Have lived in your precinct for at least 30 days before the next general, municipal, or special election (except for certain military voters).
- Not currently be imprisoned after being convicted of a crime.
“I urge all Hoosiers to exercise their right to vote,” said Secretary of State Connie Lawson. “It only takes a few minutes to register and can be done online at anytime.”
Hoosiers wishing to take part in the Nov. 8, general election must be registered by Oct. 11.
