SYRACUSE — Wawasee High School has announced its valedictorian and salutatorian for the 2015-16 school year

This year’s valedictorian is Madeline Kay Birch, daughter of Jack and Tana Birch. She plans to attend Indiana University to major in chemistry and pre-med. High school activities included soccer, track and field, National Honor Society, Student Representative Council and the Wawasee Leadership Committee.

This year’s salutatorian is Dylan Joseph Elpusan, son of Kellie Willis and Ray Elpusan. He plans to attend Purdue University or the University of California-Berkeley to major in chemical engineering. His high school activities included soccer, track and field, National Honor Society, the super mileage team, Student Representative Council and the Wawasee Leadership Committee.
