Pulsipher Injured In SR 15 Crash
NEW PARIS —Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at SR 15 and CR 46, in New Paris. The accident occurred at 5:13 a.m. Tuesday, March 22.
Drivers Bobby Pulsipher, 47, Syracuse and Rogelio Salas, 48, Goshen, and a passenger in the Salas vehicle, Ignacio Buenrostro, 75, Goshen, were all taken to IU Health Goshen. Pulsipher complained of neck pain while Salas and Buenrostro both complained of chest pain.
Elkhart County Sheriff’s officers reported Pulsipher was westbound on CR 46 at SR 15, when she entered the intersection continuing westbound, failing to yield the right of way to the Salas driven vehicle. The Pulsipher vehicle struck the Silas vehicle in the left rear portion. After impact the Pulsipher vehicle came to rest facing westbound in the grass in the northwest corner of the intersection and the Silas vehicle spun and came to a rest facing south in the southbound lane of SR 15.
Pulsipher was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
