FBI Arrests Man In Connection To Plymouth Robbery
PLYMOUTH — The FBI has arrested James Victor Hunley, 40, in the area of Tulsa, Okla., Thursday, March 17. Hunley was arrested not only in connection with the Feb. 29 armed robbery in Plymouth, but also robberies in other northern Indiana communities.
Plymouth Police Detective Leo Mangus reported at 7:47 p.m. Feb. 29, police received a 911 call regarding an armed robbery that had taken place a short time earlier at the Dollar General Store, 2015 N. Michigan St.. Mangus, who investigated this case, learned Hunley may be the suspect.
Further investigation revealed Hunley had committed robberies in North Judson, Cedar Lake and Crown Point. and the information shared with police agencies in those areas and the FBI.
Hunley is awaiting extradition to appear in federal court.
