Tigers To Be Televised By WHME
SOUTH BEND – The Warsaw boys basketball semistate game will be shown Saturday night by WHME-TV.
The Class 4-A game will be shown by Channel 46 on a tape-delayed basis at 11 p.m.
The No. 5 Tigers (25-1) will face No. 4 McCutcheon (27-1) at 6:45 p.m. Saturday in the Class 4-A Lafayette Jefferson Semistate. The game will follow the Class 3-A semistate matchup between Griffith (25-3) and Marion (21-7), which is scheduled to tip-off at 4 p.m. Doors at Jeff will open at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
The winner of the Warsaw-McCutcheon game will play in the Class 4-A state championship game on Saturday, March 26 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. That game will tip-off at approximately 8:15 p.m. The Warsaw-McCutcheon winner will play either No. 1 New Albany (25-1) or No. 9 Southport (22-6) in the state title tilt. New Albany faces Southport on Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Richmond Semistate.
