KOSCIUSKO — The Salvation Army of Kosciusko County is promoting a “Give Green Challenge” to stock their Choice Food Pantry that currently serves around 200 families each month.
The challenge will run from St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, to the end of the month March 31. “Donations of canned goods or monies to purchase food are being accepted during the Give Green Challenge,” according to Major Bill Welch, Corps Officer. “St. Patrick is a wonderful example of a Christian who served and gave to others. We honor him during this challenge.”
The Salvation Army hopes to collect 777 pounds of food during the challenge.
