Deborah L. Kelsey
Deborah L. Kelsey, 65, Albion, passed away at 6:25 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at the North Ridge Nursing Facility. She was born on Sept. 26, 1950, in Goshen, the daughter of Homer and Loura Louise (DeMarco) Kelsey.
She leaves behind a sister: Barbara (Brad) Bradley, South Bend; a brother: Adam (Pam) Nichols, Albion; several nephews: Brian Kelsey, Midland, Texas; Todd Kelsey, Mo.; Brandon Kelsey, Goshen; Sean (Cary Carlton) Ramsby, Columbus, Ohio; Daniel Nichols, Auburn; three nieces: Teresa (John Berneche) Ramsby , South Hadley, Mass.; Heather (Jay) Brassell, Warrenton, Mo.; Stephanie (Scott) McCoy, Buena Vista, Va.; 18 grandnieces and nephews with one in the oven making a total of 19. Deborah also has two aunts: Eleanor Spitzer; and Phyllis (Walter) Tittman. She is welcomed into everlasting life by her parents and a brother: Rick Kelsey.
She enjoyed traveling with her family especially to Disney World and being the best Aunt anyone could ask for. Deborah’s kind, loving, and compassionate spirit will be missed dearly by her family and friends. She is known for her love of bryer horses and anything to do with Star-Trek. Beanie babies are something she collected and was quite competitive when it came to playing a game of cards. Her self-driven attitude allowed her to complete her degree at Purdue University, which helped her to utilize her skill set as a successful IT Computer Programmer.
A private memorial service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are with Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center.
