Goshen Dining Days
ELKHART — Diners in Goshen will once again be eating out for a good cause starting this weekend. The second annual Goshen Dining Days, sponsored by a local newspaper and the Elkhart County Convention and Visitors Bureau, will offer specials at 14 restaurants from March 5 to 12.
Ten percent of the proceeds from the specials will benefit The Window, a non-profit agency on main street that helps those in need by providing clothes, hot meals, a food pantry and other services.
“We’re excited to again be putting on this wonderful dining event in our community to help an agency that does so much phenomenal work,” said Pete VanBaalen, publisher of the local newspaper.
The eateries will offer specials of $5 to $25. The special menus may be found at goshendiningdays.com.
The newspaper hosted the first Goshen Dining Days in 2015. More than 1,740 specials sold raised $2,600 to benefit the Share the Bounty program at the Goshen Farmer’s Market.
