Watson To Speak At FCA Event
FORT WAYNE – The Indiana Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be hosting ‘Night of Hope’ at the Embassy Theatre in Fort Wayne. The event will take place May 2, 2016, featuring New Orleans Saints football player Benjamin Watson as the guest speaker. The evening will also feature music by Charles Billingsley.
Watson will be sharing about how there is hope in the midst of the typical tension, strife and division that are the hallmarks of the racial problems that have plagued mankind. Watson is speaking as a guest of FCA.
“I’m encouraged because ultimately the problem is not a skin problem, it is a sin problem,” as Benjamin Watson so eloquently writes in his book, Under Our Skin. “I’m encouraged because God has provided a solution for sin through his son, Jesus, and with it, a transformed heart and mind…This is our hope.”
Added FCA Indiana State Director Kraig Cabe, “We are excited to host a Night of Hope in Fort Wayne again this year. We believe in addressing real issues from a Christian perspective. We believe Benjamin Watson will help us do that while reminding us that every life has value.”
Tickets will be released on March 8 and are free at www.indianafca.org, the Embassy Theatre box office, and through Ticket Master.
