Interra Credit Union Opens Branch In Etna Green
ETNA GREEN — The grand opening celebration at Interra Credit Union’s new Etna Green office will be held Friday and Saturday, March 11 and 12. The celebration kicks off with a ribbon cutting Friday morning. The grand opening celebration follows during regular business hours both days.
Located at 106 Walnut St., the full-service office includes a newly renovated lobby, transaction services and private offices. The walk-up ATM provides 24/7 access.
Hours at the Etna Green office are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday; closed Tuesday and Wednesday; noon-4 p.m. Thursday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; and 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday.
In addition to consumer products and services, Interra members and the broader Etna Green area community have access to Interra staff with expertise in mortgage, small business and agricultural services. Jackie Peters serves as the branch manager and Jeremy Bender, the on-site ag lender.
The credit union was founded in Goshen almost 85 years, primarily to serve the agricultural community. It has grown and diversified into a full-service financial institution, now serving nearly 65,000 members. In addition to Etna Green, Interra offices are also located in Bremen, Goshen, Elkhart, Middlebury, Millersburg, Nappanee, New Paris, Osceola, Shipshewana, Syracuse, Topeka and Wakarusa. The new Ligonier office is currently under construction, with a planned opening in late spring. The credit union also provides robust electronic solutions with a suite of online services.
With a strong financial base, Interra’s assets have grown to more than $800 million. Member deposits are almost $730 million, of which nearly $620 million stay in the local communities, reinvested in mortgage, consumer, agriculture and commercial loans. The credit union staff includes more than 240 full and part-time employees.
