Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
11:39 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, East CR 350N west of North CR 100E, Warsaw. Driver: Jose A. Galarza, 55, East Back Forty Circle, Warsaw. Galarza’s vehicle slid into a utility pole. Damage up to $1,000.
8:15 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, West CR 100S west of South SR 25, Warsaw. Driver: Cassidy M. Cave, 18, Talma Road, Rochester. Cave swerved and her vehicle went off the road into a ditch, struck several fence posts and went back onto the roadway. Cave declined medical treatment. Damage up to $5,000.
7:08 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, East US 30 east of South CR 900E, Pierceton. Driver: Kimberly A. Wilson, 44, West Stoneridge Drive, Columbia City. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
10:47 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, 521 First St., Pierceton. Drivers: Roscoe Howard, 82, East CR 500S, Pierceton, and Rachel A. Martin, 71, South Washington Street, Pierceton. As Howard was pulling out of the parking lot, her vehicle collided with Martin’s. Damage up to 10,000.
11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, East CR 1100N and North Turkey Creek Road, Cromwell. Drivers: Timothy J. Arndt, 26, Prairie Drive, Syracuse, and Catharine D. Beeman, 52, Lake Gage, Angola. Arndt pulled into the path of Beeman’s oncoming vehicle. She swerved into a ditch. Neither driver was positive their vehicles had collided. Damage up to $1,000.
Milford
Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:
8:56 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, North Old Road 15 and East CR 1300N, Milford. Driver: Jill C. Grindle, 55, East Northshore Drive, Syracuse. Grindle’s vehicle went through a stop sign, striking a landscape boulder. Damage up to $5,000.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
11:41 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, South Main Street and East Himes Street, North Webster. Drivers: Bert B. Depue, 88, North Center Street, North Webster, and Wayne E. Hunley, 66, EMS T16B Lane, Leesburg. While Depue was attempting to turn, his vehicle slid past the intersection. He attempted to back up and his vehicle collided with Hunley’s. Damage up to $5,000.
Pierceton
Officers with the Pierceton Police Department investigated the following accident:
1:12 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, South SR 13 south of South CR 725E, Pierceton. Drivers: Scott D. Paulus, 22, North CR 900E, Pierceton, and Nichole C. Trigg, 20, North Old Road 102, Columbia City. Paulus stopped for an animal and Trigg’s vehicle rear-ended his. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
11:48 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, West Lake Street and Leiter Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Curtis T. Click, 28, East CR 25S, Winona Lake. Click’s vehicle slid into the curb. Damage up to $5,000.
11:12 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, East CR 200N south of North Boeing Road, Warsaw. Driver: Brian H. Gerald, 44, Jackson Boulevard, Rochester. Gerald’s vehicle slid into a guardrail. Damage up to $5,000.
10:42 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, Eat Center Street East of South Cleveland Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Lucille N. Antaya, 26, Court Street, Winona Lake, and Katlynne M. Gregory, 21, Schoolwood Drive, Indianapolis. Antaya’s vehicle slid into the rear of Gregory’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
9:29 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, South Zimmer Road south of West Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: Christina M. Ross, 33, North SR 25, Tippecanoe. Ross attempted to pass another vehicle and lost control. Her vehicle spun and hit a utility pole. Damage up to $5,000.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
3:18 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, East Pierceton Road and South CR 275E, Winona Lake. Drivers: Marsha R. Jones, 61, North Sycamore Street, North Manchester, and Bettye J. Desrosiers, 73, West Bittersweet Trail, Columbia City. Jones stopped at the stop sign, then proceeded into path of Desrosiers’s oncoming vehicle and they collided. Damage up to $5,000.
