Tickets Set To Go On Sale For SB Cubs
SOUTH BEND – Individual-game tickets for the 2016 South Bend Cubs season go on sale March 9 beginning at 10 a.m. Coffee and doughnuts will be available for fans waiting in line, prizes will be given away hourly and there will be a special appearance by Stu.
Since affiliating with the Chicago Cubs, team officials continue to see an increasing demand for tickets. Already, season ticket sales are up 31 percent over last year, and they expect the April 7 home opener to sell out.
“We’re gearing up for a very busy day on March 9,” said Joe Hart, President of the South Bend Cubs. “Since last season ended, we’ve been getting phone calls asking about tickets for this season. Our season ticket sales are already up over 30 percent from last year. It’s just remarkable. It shows that not only do our fans love our affiliation with the Chicago Cubs, they’re liking what they see at the ballpark and want to come back.”
Hart expects seats to go quickly for Opening Day when the South Bend Cubs take on the West Michigan Whitecaps.
The hourly prizes are for fans who purchase tickets at the stadium box office:
