James McIntosh
James McIntosh, 82, Tippecanoe, passed at 3:47 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw.
He was born on May 19, 1933, in Irvine, Ky. to John and Martha (Frazier) McIntosh. He was married on Dec. 31, 1974 in Bourbon, to Arminta Suzie (Edmondson) Tackett, she survives. Jim was a machinist at Biomet of Warsaw, where he retired. Jim served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a past member of the Bourbon American Legion.
Jim is survived by Arminta Suzie McIntosh, Tippecanoe; son: James (Sharon) McIntosh, Warsaw; stepchildren: Johnny Tackett; Michael Tackett; Jackie Hackworth; Jimmy Tackett; and Jerry Tackett; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Martha McIntosh; and stepchildren: Lonnie Tackett; Ruth Howard.
Graveside services will be at noon Saturday, Feb. 27, at Tippecanoe Cemetery, with military rites being performed by the Bourbon American Legion, and will be officiated by Terry Bradford.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Bourbon American Legion. Hartzler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
