James Duvall
James “Jimmy” Duvall, 76, of Goshen died Saturday morning, Feb. 20, 2016, at IU Health Goshen Hospital after being in failing health for years.
He was born July 31, 1939, in Albany, Ky. to Jess and Mabel (Rigney) Duvall.
On March 25, 1978 he married Donna Butler in Goshen.
She survives along with two daughters: Donielle (Christopher) O’Haver of Millersburg and Cristella Duvall of Kokomo; three sons: Jimmy Duvall of Kokomo, Jason Duvall of Benton Harbor, Mich. and Michael “Tony” Ott of Syracuse; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother: David (Phyllis) Logston of New Castle; and five sisters: Mary Helen Lee of Muncie, Anna Lorene (Larry) Cox of New Castle, Geri (Jan) Kolodziej of New Castle, Gwen (Floyd) Cook of Cookville, Tenn. and Carolyn Stewart of North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters: Betty Sidwell, Shirley Logston and Tammy Ferguson; and a brother: Gary Dale Logston.
Jimmy worked at Midwestern Rubber, retiring after 25 years in maintenance. He was a member of Goshen Church of God. He enjoyed NASCAR and racing at Mount Lawn in New Castle.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, funeral service will be conducted. Pastor Pete Ramie will officiate.
Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery, New Castle.
