David Lowell Biltz
David Lowell Biltz, 78, Warsaw, passed away at 10:42 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. He was born to Clarence and Margaret (Timko) Biltz on Nov. 11, 1937, in Warsaw. He married Francis Gayle Reese at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, on Dec. 5, 1959.
He honorably served in the United States Marine Corps in the 1st Force Reconnaissance Company FMF PAC., returning after four years of service in 1959. He has been a lifetime resident of Warsaw.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and American Legion Posts Warsaw #49 and Wabash Post # 15. he retired from Zimmer Biomet as a machinist operating a CNC. He enjoyed listing to county music, when traveling everywhere, they drove and he was the best popcorn maker.
David is survived by his wife of 56 years: Gayle; two sons: David Lowell Biltz II, Warsaw; Mark (Tina) Biltz, Larwill; a daughter: Kathryn Joan (Manolo) Dosal, Goshen; a brother: Clarence (Carolyn) Biltz, Wabash; a sister: Helen Jean (Donald) Goff, Wabash; grandchildren: Jenny; Celia; Samantha; Tisha; Carie; Nole; Kalee; Katelyn; 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; one sister; one son; one daughter; and his beloved dog: Maggie.
A Service of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Father Phil DeVoler officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with Military Honors by the American Legion Post #49 and US Military Funeral honor guard. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17. A Rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
