He was born Aug. 8, 1969, in Indiott, N.Y. to Archie Cook Sr. and Cora A. (Barton) Crump.
He married Tracy (Nunemaker) Cook on February 19, 1989.
Surviving are his wife: Tracy, Goshen; daughter, Taylor Adelynn Cook, Goshen; mother: Cora A. Crump, Ashland, Va.; siblings: Robert Cook, South Hill, Va.; Sandi Cook, Ashland, Va.; James (Katie) Crump, Ashland, Va.; Kathleen (Tommy) Crump-Coronet, Virginia; Tammy (Dave) Leopold, Meadville, Penn.; Trina (Chris) Hopsecger, Kentucky; Tom (Jolene) Nunemaker, Rootstown, Ohio; Jerry Crump Jr., Joyce Crump and Michael Crump, all of Virginia.
Preceding him in death is his father, Archie Cook Sr., a brother, Walter Crump and a sister, Vickie Cook-Coronet.
Archie was a project manager of R & D for Veada Industries, New Paris. He attended Nappanee Missionary Church. He loved sports, especially the Tarheels. He said “God loved the North Carolina Tarheels so much, He made the sky Carolina Blue”.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, and 5-6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, with the service following at 6 p.m. all at Nappanee Missionary Church, 70417 SR 19, Nappanee. Pastor Jason Rohde of Nappanee Missionary Church will officiate. Burial will be in Olive (East) Cemetery.
