E. Lauree Brubaker
E. Lauree Brubaker, Grace Village, Winona Lake, formerly of Warsaw, passed away at 10:55 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Aug. 13, 1922, in Wayne Township, Kosciusko County, to John D. and Flossie “Mae” (Kurtz) Foreman.
She was united in marriage to Wilmer H. Brubaker Aug. 27, 1977, in Warsaw. He preceded her.
She was formerly employed by Lake City Bank, Warsaw, beginning as an assistant cashier and rising to the position of operations officer after 33 years of service. She attended First Baptist Church, Warsaw, and was a member of the KCH senior club. In addition, she volunteered for Mobile Meals as driver until she was 80 years old.
She is survived by a daughter, Elaine Hively, Warsaw; six grandchildren: Sharisa Hively, Stacha (Tim) Gochenour, Kassie (Dan) Boyer, David Burgess, Troy (Penny) Burgess and Shane Burgess; 12 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great grandchildren.
Her husband, one son, Eldon Duane Burgess, one grandson, Sid Hively, one great-grandson, Austin Boyer, one great-great granddaughter, Peyton Stogsdill, one brother, Kenneth Foreman, and one sister, Eloise Beiswanger, preceded her.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral chapel with Chaplain Richard Anderson, Grace Village Assisted Living, officiating. Interment will be in Palestine Cemetery, Palestine.
