Marolyn Jo Anne Cook Bills
Marolyn Jo Anne Cook Bills, Warsaw, passed away at 1:42 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016 at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, at the age of 84.
She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where she worked for United Telephone Company for 30 years, retiring in 1989. Marolyn worked there as the supervisor of CTI and operator services and was a member of the Indiana Pioneer Association. She was a member of Winona Lake Free Methodist Church and the Winona Lake Literary Club.
She was born Aug. 2, 1931, in Warsaw to Victor L. Cook and Hannah Ellen (Graves) Cook. On May 22, 1953, she was married to Donald Eugene Bills, who passed away July 3, 1998.
Marolyn will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters: Beverly (Chris) Bills Gamble, Carol Stream, Ill., and Dona Kay (Mark) Bills Hannagan, Socorro, N.M.; five grandchildren: Robert Aaron Bills, Christin Marie Gamble Jacobs, Malynda Jo Gamble Moore, Maraka Helene Hannagan and Makala Sara Hannagan; four great-grandchildren; three sisters: Phyllis Gearhart, Akron, Karolyn (Edward) Barrus, Leesburg, and Judy (Franklin) Swick, Mentone; and two brothers: Norman (Muriel) Cook, Portland, Ore., and Joseph (Shirley) Cook, Warsaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Robert Arther Bills, two brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be rom 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
Her funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Parker officiating. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Memorial donations may be directed to Winona Lake Free Methodist Church, 902 College Ave., Winona Lake, IN 46590 to go towards Kiddie Kollege.
