Cold Weather, Snow To Continue Into Sunday
NORTHERN INDIANA — The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the following counties: Kosciusko, Marshall, LaGrange, Noble and St. Joseph. This includes the areas of Warsaw, Winona Lake, Syracuse, Mentone, Plymouth, Bremen, Culver, LaGrange, Topeka, Shipshewana, Kendallville, Ligonier and Albion and portions of southern Michigan.
Lake-effect snow showers will diminish later today. An additional inch or two of accumulation is possible.
Northwest winds of 10 to 20 miles per hour will create some blowing and drifting snow and wind chills between zero and 10 below zero degrees, Fahrenheit.
Snow is also expected to develop Sunday and continue into Sunday night. Accumulations of an inch or two will be possible. Sunday morning wind chills will be between 5 and 15 below zero degrees, Fahrenheit.
