Frank Everett Watson
Frank Everett Watson of Warsaw, passed away at 3:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw at the age of 85.
He had been a resident of Kosciusko County, for the past nine years. He was a 1947 graduate of West Monroe High School in Louisiana. Frank then enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served until his honorable discharge in 1951. He attended Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri graduating in 1956. He received his Masters in Education from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. Throughout his life he pastored a number of churches, but most of his working career he spent as a home builder in the Fort Wayne, area. Prior to his retirement he was an administrator at Fort Wayne Bible College. Frank was a member of Abundant Life Assembly of God in Warsaw and will be missed by many.
He was born on Dec. 8, 1930, in West Monroe, La., to Logan Watson and Beatrix (Monsieur) Watson. On Aug. 20, 1955, he was married in New Market, Ontario to Gwendolyn Geraldine (Shelostowski) Watson, who survives in Warsaw.
He will be lovingly remembered by his son: Buckley (Laura) Watson, Warsaw; daughter: Cynthia Studebaker, Fort Wayne; five grandchildren: Bethany; Elizabeth; Kristina; Jason; and Amanda; and six great-grandchildren: Cesar; Alex; Taylor; Mardi; Aryanna; and Justic. He also leaves behind two brothers: Donald Watson; and Robin Watson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson: Joshua Watson.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw. There will be an hour of visitation an hour prior to the service at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, also at the funeral home, and officiated by Pastor Anthony Green. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
