Glenda L. Starner
Glenda L. Starner, 81, of rural Claypool, passed at 5:15 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016, at Mason Health Care of Warsaw.
She was born on March 7, 1934, in Wabash, to Roy and Katherine (Perry) Holle. She was married on Sept. 8, 1951 to Robert Starner who preceded Feb. 14, 2013. She had worked for Kimble Glass, Blue Bell’s, and as well as a homemaker. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include daughter: Susan (Tim) Werstler, Pierceton; son: David (Kris) Starner, Claypool; sister: Connie Craig, Warsaw; five grandsons: Zachary; Jacob; Brodie Starner; and Jason and Nathan Werstler; great-granddaughter: Adalyn Starner. She was preceded in death by husband: Robert Starner; daughter; Marsha Starner; and three brothers: Archie; Jack; and Harold Holle.
Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, at King Memorial Home, Mentone. Services will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday after visitation, officiated by Pastor Denny Bollenbacher. Burial will be at the Walnut Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Argos, at a later date.
