Kay Caudill
Kay Caudill, 60, Warsaw, passed away at 8 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, in Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. She was born May 10, 1955, in Columbia City, to Harold and Ileana “Jake” Brandenburg.
She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. She was united in marriage to Russell Miller on November 8, 1980 who passed away May 18, 1993 she then wed David Caudill on April 10, 2005, who survives. She obtained a Bachelors and Master’s Degree as Registered Nurse and was Director of Nursing at Wabash Skilled Care. She enjoyed traveling and loved the sun and water. She was noted to be a hard worker with a giving heart and was particular fond of her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband: David Caudill, Warsaw; children: Brandi (Rich) Wine, Chapel Hill, Tenn.; Staci Bailey, North Manchester; Kevin (Trisha) Miller, Brownsburg; James (Mindy) Miller, Brownsburg; Samantha Wert, Silver Lake; Mark (Dawn) Miller, Fort Wayne; Mat (Connie) Miller, New Carlisle; Shelly (David) Cunningham, North Manchester; Greg (Jill) Caudill, Fort Wayne; Austin (Ashley) Caudill, Warsaw; Nikki Caudill, Warsaw; and Lou (Claude) Clark, Warsaw; a brother: Rob (Jimm) Brandenburg, Fort Wayne; and sister: Bonnie Brandenburg, North Manchester; and Lind (Mike) Renschler, South Whitley; 30 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. In addition to Russell, she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Harold Brandenburg Sr.
Visitation hours are scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday with Pastor JP Freeman officiating in the Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
The family is requesting that the memorial contributions be made the Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
