Amanda J. Sudlow
Amanda J. Sudlow, 41, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, in the IU Health University Hospital, Indianapolis, after a year-long battle with cancer.
Born Jan. 9, 1975, in Kalamazoo, Mich. , she was the daughter of Richard Donald and Carolyn J. (Smith) Sudlow. She would move to Warsaw from Rockford, Ill. in 1983. Amanda was a 1993 graduate of Warsaw Community High School.
Amanda was employed by Kosciusko Family Health Care PC for 10 years and presently was working in the medical records department.
She attended Warsaw Community Church and volunteered at Fellowship Missions (homeless shelter). Amanda enjoyed Komets Hockey and followed Jimmy Johnson in NASCAR. She was a Notre Dame, Colts and Green Bay Packer football fan. Amanda was a loving mom who enjoyed watching her son play Young Tigers Football and her daughter as she managed the Madison Elementary Cardinals girls’ basketball team.
Left with broken hearts is her mother: Carolyn Sudlow, Warsaw; twins: son: Carson Sudlow; daughter: Madison Sudlow, both at home; and her brother and sister-in-law: Rich and Kay Sudlow, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her father: Richard D. Sudlow, on Jan. 9, 1997; maternal grandparents: Wayne and Doris Smith; and paternal grandparents: Don and Marcele Sudlow.
Friends and family may come together to share memories in support of one another from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A service celebrating Amanda’s life will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27. Pastor Jamy Gregory of Warsaw Community Church will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
The family has asked that gifts in Amanda’s memory be directed to K-21 Health Foundation – Cancer Care Fund, Warsaw.
