IU Soccer Star Hollinger-Janzen Drafted
Former Bethany Christian High School soccer star Femi Hollinger-Janzen is now in the professional ranks.
Hollinger-Janzen, currently a senior at Indiana University, was drafted Tuesday in the third round of the Major League Soccer SuperDraft. He was taken by the New England Revolution as the 51st overall pick in the draft.
Hollinger-Janzen, who was born in West Africa, helped the Hoosiers win a national championship his freshman season. The forward was an All-Big Ten selection following both his junior and senior seasons for the Hoosiers. He finished his collegiate career with 22 goals and eight assists.
Hollinger-Janzen was an All-State selection and the Indiana Gatorade Player of the Year while at Bethany Christian. He led the Bruins to four conference championships during his high school career.
