Purdue Adds Louisville, BC To Football Schedule
WEST LAFAYETTE – Purdue has announced future football games with a pair of schools from the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Boilermakers and Louisville will square off at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Sept. 2, 2017, and will host Boston College at Ross-Ade Stadium on Sept. 22, 2018, and travel to Boston College Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, on Sept. 26, 2020.
Purdue and Louisville have met once previously, a contest that took place Sept. 19, 1987, in West Lafayette and resulted in a 22-22 tie. The 2017 neutral-site game will be the second for Purdue at Lucas Oil, having dropped a 30-14 decision to Notre Dame at the venue Sept. 13, 2014.
Purdue and Boston College have not played each other in football. Alumni Stadium has a seating capacity of 44,500 and features an AstroTurf 3D playing surface.
The Boilermakers are 14-14-2 in 30 all-time meetings between schools that currently call the ACC home.
