WINONA LAKE — Grace College and Seminary will host the first “Lancer Day” of the new year on Friday, Jan. 22. The event is designed for prospective high school students and parents to learn more about what Grace College offers and allow participants to experience life at Grace with other high school students in a group setting. Lancer Day will begin at 8:30 a.m. at 200 Seminary Drive, Winona Lake.
Although campus visits may be scheduled at any time, Lancer Days provide a unique experience. Students and their families participate in a panel discussion, attend chapel, tour campus, eat lunch in Alpha Dining Commons and interact with faculty members. “Students who visit during Lancer Days have the opportunity to survey the 60-plus majors at Grace, the diverse student activities and clubs, learn about the many financial assistance opportunities and how Grace College is making quality, Christian education attractive and affordable,” said Cindy Sisson, Grace College Vice President of Enrollment Management.
Game Day passes are also available for sporting events during the student’s visit. Additionally, high school juniors and seniors can spend one night in a dorm.
Grace’s innovative approach to higher education makes it an excellent option for prospective high schools students. Measure of Grace provides undergraduate students with an addition $500 reduction in tuition each consecutive year they attend Grace. Students also receive free textbook rentals, amounting to $4,800 in savings over four years. Grace’s accelerated three-year bachelor’s degree program allows students to save a year’s tuition and enter the workforce earlier.
2016 Lancer Days include Friday, Jan. 22; Friday, April 1; and Friday, April 8. To register for Lancer Day, visit www.grace.edu/vip.
