Delp Delivers in LCA Basketball Win
CULVER – Hannah Delp led the way to victory for the Lakeland Christian Academy girls basketball team Monday night.
Delp tossed in a game-high 15 points as the Cougars topped host Culver 46-34 in prep action.
Delp also had five rebounds, four steals and four assists in the win for LCA.
The Cougars led 14-8 after the opening period and 28-13 at halftime en route to the victory.
Rachel Sand netted 14 points to go with six rebounds for the Cougars. Carissa Urschalitz added seven points and eight rebounds for the winners.
Melissa Goss had a strong all-around night with four points to go with three rebounds, four steals and three blocked shots. Anna Reimink added four points and Brady Gross had two points and nine rebounds for LCA.
Marisa Howard scored 12 points and Courtney Sayler had 11 to lead Culver.
LCA improves to 10-8 on the season, while Culver drops to 2-14 with its fifth straight loss.
LCA plays at Cornerstone Christian on Tuesday night. Culver hosts Triton on Friday night.
