Banks Officially Files For 3rd Congressional District
INDIANAPOLIS — Conservative Republican State Senator Jim Banks today, Wednesday, Jan. 6, officially filed paperwork to become a candidate for Indiana’s Third Congressional District. Banks is running to replace Republican Congressman Marlin Stutzman, who is vacating the seat to run for the United States Senate.
“Washington is in desperate need of conservative leadership. I believe my background and track record in the Indiana Legislature has uniquely prepared me to fight for Indiana families. If elected, it would be an honor to serve the people of the 3rd district in the United States House of Representatives,” said Banks.
Since entering the race last May, Banks has run a positive, issues-based campaign. From national defense and veterans affairs to gun rights and protection of the unborn, Banks is taking his message of fiscal conservatism to every corner of the 3rd District.
Banks has been endorsed by: Club for Growth PAC, Combat Veterans for Congress PAC, Concerned Women for America PAC, Dr. James Dobson, Family Research Council, Freedom Works PAC, Madison Project, National Association of Gun Rights PAC and Tea Party Express
