Gerold R (Gary) Baker
NORTH WEBSTER — Gerold R (Gary) Baker died Dec.31, 2015, in Mississippi. Gary was born on Feb. 11, 1925 in his family’s home in North Webster, where he spent the majority of his life.
Baker was a farmer by profession and ran Baker’s Dairy. He also worked in the mobile home industry for several years and South Shore Golf Course. An avid outdoorsman he loved hunting, fishing, and golf. Baker was a member of the North Webster American Legion.
He is survived by his sister: June Auer, Syracuse; sons: Craig, North Webster; and Charlie (Jill) Baker, North Webster; one daughter: Chris Anderson, Madison, Miss; five grandsons: Tony (Sandra) Baker; Ross (Laurie) Cable; Nick (Kara) Baker; Luke (Tyson) Baker; and Jake (Kari) Baker; one granddaughter: Cindy (John) Gardner; ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Baker was preceded in death by his wife: Nancy (Laird) Baker; his father: Harold Baker; mother: Helen Baker; and brother: Richard Baker.
Memorial service will be held in North Webster Cemetery at a later date.
Parkway Funeral Home, Ridgeland, Miss., was in charge of arrangements.
