Goodwill To Host Hiring Workshops
WARSAW — Goodwill’s Warsaw Community Career Center will host several free events in January to offer job seekers education opportunities and employment resources.
Workshops include:
- Basic Computer Skills 2-3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4
- Career Planning 2-3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18
If you’re new to computers, our staff will help you learn the basics, then join us Monday, Jan. 18 to discuss career planning and how to start your journey to success. Workshops are free to the public throughout the month to provide job seekers an opportunity for continuous growth and improvement. One-on-one assistance is also available by appointment.
Microsoft Word Workshop Series
- 3-4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7
- 3-4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14
- 3-4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21
- 3-4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28
Learn the basics of text layout, formatting, common tasks and working with templates. All skill levels and ages are welcome – from beginners to those just needing to brush up on Microsoft Word. Each lesson builds on the previous class, so it is helpful to attend as many sessions as possible. You’ll also learn how to further your skills from home. It is not necessary to sign up in advance. This workshop series is free and open to the public.
Help At Home Hiring Event

Help at Home is looking for CNA’s and HHA’s to service home health clients in Warsaw and surrounding communities. They offer competitive wages and strong company support.
