Thelma ‘Faye’ Lowe
Thelma “Faye” Lowe, 91, formerly of rural Warsaw, and a resident of Mason Health Care of Warsaw, passed at 8 a.m. Monday, Dec. 21, 2015, at Mason Health Care of Warsaw.
She was born on April 1, 1924, in Van Lear, Ky. to Clayton and Gracie (Boyde) Bowling. She was married on Nov. 18, 1972, in Akron, to Alvin R. Lowe, he preceded March 18, 2013. Faye retired from Kralis Brothers Foods and then later retired again from Creighton Brothers. She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church of Silver Lake. She enjoyed taking care of her family and tending to her garden.
She is survived by her daughters: Donna Johnson, Seneca, Mis.; Betty Louise Owens, Argos; Cindy Lee Hively, Warsaw; sons: Larry T. Booth, Fort Wayne; Harold V. Booth, Wabash; Bennie Hively Jr., Warsaw; Mickey A. Hively, Warsaw; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters: Ethel Mae Clifton, Wabsh; Loraine Music, Grand Rapids, Mich.; Brothers: Carl Bowling, Van Lear, Ky.; Billie Jean Bowling, Wabash; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Patricia Sue Hoppus; five brothers; and three sisters.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, at King Memorial Home, Mentone, officiated by Rev. Loren Bradley. Burial will be at the Harrison Center Cemetery, Etna Green. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, also at King Memorial Home.
