Norma C. Fawley
Norma C. Fawley, 77, passed away at 9:37 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, in Warsaw home.
She was born on May 29, 1938, in Terre Haute, to Roy and Helen (Conn) Ellis. She married Charles Fawley on Sept. 22, 1957, at the Nazarene Church, in Terre Haute.
Norma was a member of the Leesburg United Methodist Church where she enjoyed many years singing in the choir. She was a member of and served as past president for both the United Methodist Women and the Prisca Circle. In her earlier years Norma was a cub scout leader, a brownie leader, girl scout leader, 4H leader, and girls softball coach. Norma loved weiner roasts, crossword puzzles, crocheting, flower gardening, and sending greeting cards. She was a homemaker and a volunteer at the Leesburg Elementary School library.
She is survived by her husband: Charles Fawley, Warsaw; daughter: Jennifer Fawley, Warsaw; son: Robert Fawley, Mundelein, Ill.; four grandchildren; brother: Ralph (Karen) Ellis, Pinehurst, N.C.; sister: Pat Hoopengarner, Terre Haute; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Roy and Helen Ellis.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Dec. 22, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Services will begin at noon on Tuesday, officiated by Pastor Rob Seewald, Leesburg United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Leesburg Cemetery.
