Children’s Museum Features Thousands Of Star Wars Collectibles
INDIANAPOLIS — Chances are you or your kids have a Star Wars toy or some kind of merchandise from the film series.
Collectibles are part of the fun.
A local couple is sharing their love of all things “Star Wars” at the The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis.
Chris Carron, director of collectibles at the museum, said the the museum has nearly 2,000 Stars Wars toys in its collection.
“Most of those came from two different collectors, but they range from the introduction of the movie in 1977, all the way up to the new movie today,” he said.
Toys, costumes, you name it, the museum has it.
“Computer and electronic games have really grown up with Star Wars, and so there’s VHS tapes, there’s Sega games and of course there’s all the games that people still play today,” Carron said.
The display is worth checking out, for padawans and Jedi masters alike, so be sure to get your tickets.
