SOUTH BEND — Come visit Potawatomi Zoo during their Winter Days while the Zoo is closed for the season and see what your animal friends are up to during the snowy chilly months. The Zoo opens for several scheduled Saturdays beginning December 19th, so visitors can experience the Zoo in the off season. The zoo will be open from noon — 3 p.m. on these days.
Scheduled winter days include Dec. 19, where guests can tell Santa what you want for Christmas. You will be able to make your own ornament, for an additional $5 and explore the zoo in a winter wonderland. Other Winter days will be: Jan. 9 and 23, Feb. 6 and 20 and March 5.
Admission is $5.50 per person, two and under are free. Potawatomi Zoological Society members are free. Train rides are $2 per person, weather permitting. We offer special activities during winter days including animal enrichment, crafts and much more! (additional cost for crafts and activities)
