Kokomo Boy Would Like You To Send Him A Christmas Card
KOKOMO — A 12-year-old Kokomo boy is hoping you’ll send him a Christmas card this year.
Brooke Nicole Stewart tells WTHR her son, Xavier Logan, has had more hospital stays than birthdays.
Xavier has cystic fibrosis, diabetes and cirrhosis, and is currently on “homebound isolation.” He endures nine shots of insulin a day, and G-tube feeds every four hours.
Brooke explains, “This means he cannot attend school or see any of his friends until flu season is over. I wondered if you could be a bright light in his life, and share with your followers a request for Christmas cards. It would give him something to look forward to during the holiday season. Thank you for your time and energy.”
If you’d like to send a card to Xavier, send it to:
Xavier Logan
1009 E Dixon St.
Kokomo, IN 46901
After WTHR responded to Brooke’s request, she said, “That makes my heart so happy. I cannot tell you how much it means to me.”
