WARSAW — Warsaw Fire Department, Warsaw Police Department and Lutheran EMS are responding to a two vehicle accident on 2455 Jalynn St., Warsaw.

According to officers with WPD, the accident occurred between a Jeep SUV and a semi. Three individuals were injured in the accident and have been transported by Lutheran EMS to a hospital in Fort Wayne. The three injured were reportedly from the Jeep.

Witnesses at the scene reportedly informed officers the Jeep rearended the semi after not slowing down at the intersection. The semi had reportedly just received a green light and was beginning to proceed forward.

Following the accident, a tractor hauling farm equipment attempted to navigate around the accident instead of waiting for the scene to be clear. The attached equipment then became caught on the Jeep and the driver was stuck at the scene until officials cleared all vehicles and injured individuals.
