Two Wounded In Drive-By Shooting In Houston
HOUSTON, TEXAS — Two people were wounded in a drive-by shooting outside a southwest Houston home late Wednesday.
According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to a call of a shooting at about 10 p.m. at a residence in the 3100 block of Wuthering Heights near Ambrose.
When HPD arrived at the scene, they found a female shot in the abdomen. The victim was transported to Ben Taub Hospital in serious but stable condition.
According to HPD, two unknown type vehicles drove by on the street and shot at the victim’s home. It appears she may have been outside when she was shot.
Motive for the shooting is not known at this time.
HPD said it had been reported that there was a second shooting victim, but were not able to found anyone at the scene. However, later on, a second victim came walking up, and told police he had been shot.
An ambulance came and transported him to Ben Taub in stable condition.
The second victim had a minor graze gunshot wound to the side of his neck.
Police do not have any suspects in custody at this time.
