INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Office of Defense Developmen recently hosted their second community roundtable with regional economic development partners and representatives from the offices of U.S. Senators Dan Coats and Joe Donnelly.
Executive Director Duane Embree led the meeting and shared IODD’s accomplishments under the leadership of Lt. Governor Ellspermann and further reiterated the importance of both the state and community’s roles in supporting Indiana’s military installations. Representatives from the congressional offices then shared best practices on ways economic development partners can further assist in promoting their region’s military value.
“The roundtables continue to be valuable for our partners who work with our military installations,” said Embree. “We know the installations have a profound impact on Indiana’s economy; and it is critically important that we continue to educate ourselves on best practices in communicating our strong military value with the rest of the nation.”
